Microsoft is ending support for the Visual Basic 6.0 integrated development environment.
however Mircosoft will continue support for the VB 6.0 runtime for existing applications.
A Microsoft blogger recently posted this information that the VB IDE will no longer be supported.
It should be note that VB 6.0 is 10 years old now.
