Hi,
I want to set tooltip on individual items in an HTML select control. Does anybody have any idea how I can achieve that? This is not too difficult in Firefox, because it supports onmouseover event of individual options within a select control. It is the bugs in IE that make this simple thing difficult. My select control is actually a listbox and allows multiple selections.
Any workaround also is welcome. If we can know the currently visible options in HTML select control or track the scrolling of listbox, then I think it can be done with some tricks.
